We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Billings, MT location. This role is ideal for a strong, people-focused leader who can foster our family-oriented culture while driving performance, accountability, and operational excellence.  Responsibilities

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and supervise service team 
    • Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for service department personnel
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Service Department Operations:
    • Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency and productivity
    • Develop and implement service procedures and standards to maintain high-quality service
    • Manage workflow, prioritize service requests, and allocate resources effectively
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure excellent customer service through effective communication and problem resolution
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and dealership policies
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect both employees and customers
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the service department budget
    • Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement cost-control measures

 Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Technical knowledge of RV systems, repairs, and maintenance
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and industry regulations
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Budgeting and financial management skills
  • Strong computer skills

Experience

  • 2+ years Proven experience in RV service management or a related field
  • College degree preferred

Compensation

  • $85,000 to $105,000 annually based on experience

About Our Dealership

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. Searching for a new camping trailer turned into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers. 

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
