Bretz RV and Marine is looking for a powerhouse Service Manager to spearhead our rapid expansion in Butte, Montana.

We are currently building a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, growing our local team, and aggressively scaling our customer support staff. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo or ease into the position over time. We are entering a massive growth phase, and we need a high-energy, driven leader who will step in, take ownership, make an immediate impact, and build a world-class service operation from the ground up.

You do not need RV industry experience. We can teach you our systems, our processes, and the technical side of the industry. We can even coach and develop your leadership style. What we cannot teach is your core character, your work ethic, and how you show up every day.

We are looking for someone who already possesses a proven track record, or the fierce drive to build one, in these key areas:

Bretz is a third-generation, family-owned Montana business. We have been serving customers since 1967 and have grown into the largest RV and marine dealership in the Pacific Northwest. Your Core Mission: Lead Through Transition & Growth

We are currently operating at our current Butte location while our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is being built right next to us. We are scheduled to move into the new building in July of 2027. This means we need a leader who can operate the business today in a very hands on working capacity while planning and executing the transition into our new home.

As our Service Manager, you will be entirely responsible for the performance of the Butte service department, achieving results by pouring into the currently small team of people you lead. And as the seasons change, you will recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-output team of technicians, service advisors, dispatchers, and support staff.

The Customer Experience Standard

Our customers rely on their RVs and boats for irreplaceable time with their families. When something breaks, it affects plans, trips, and lifelong memories.

We aim for a world-class purchasing and ownership experience. To achieve this, you must be entirely customer-experience focused. You will step directly into tough situations, take ownership, and drive toward a solution. More importantly, you will train your service advisors and staff on how to communicate with radical clarity, set honest expectations upfront, and follow through every single time. Customer service here is about being responsive, clear, and accountable.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven Leadership: Experience managing, recruiting, and developing teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Growth-Oriented & Aggressive: A relentless drive to improve yourself, your team, and the business's bottom line.
  • High Energy: The stamina and enthusiasm to lead a growing department through a major facility transition.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to deliver clear expectations to your team and transparent solutions to customers.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong computer skills are a must. We utilize multiple dealership management systems, and you need to adapt to them quickly.
  • Outdoor & Family-Oriented: A passion for the outdoors and a strong alignment with our family-focused company values.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
  • Relocation Assistance: Available depending on candidate situation
