Position Overview:
Our childcare center is looking for a talented, upbeat individual to monitor and lead activities for children throughout the day. You'll help little ones engage in fun, educational games that build critical thinking and cooperation. Along the way, you’ll develop skills that benefit both personal and career growth in child development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care, from maintaining schedules and routines to feeding, grooming, and diapering.
  • Foster a learning-friendly environment that builds social and practical skills like sharing and cooperation.
  • Maintain a safe space by monitoring children’s health, behavior, and emotions, reporting concerns as needed.
  • Encourage exploration and help kids find new interests in art, music, sports, and more.
  • Prepare children for their next learning stages.
  • Collaborate with parents to support each child’s development and progress.
  • Assist in lesson planning and prepping for creative activities.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in childcare is preferred but not required
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Must pass a background check
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Up-to-date immunization record
  • Must have stress management skills
Physical Requirements: 
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting
  • Must be able to lift and carry children weighing up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to move around actively throughout the day, including standing, walking, and occasionally running to manage activities or emergencies.

Compensation:

  • $15 - $16 per hour DOE

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday rotation: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Relocation

About Our Dealership

 Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. Searching for a new camping trailer turned into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers. 

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company. We start by finding great people with high energy and then find the best place for them to be successful in our dealerships.
