Our childcare center is seeking a qualified and experienced Daycare Director to lead our team. As the director, you will oversee all operations of the daycare, ensuring high-quality care and education. From developing care roadmaps for children to designing engaging summer programs, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our daycare.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the daycare center’s operations, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations.  
  • Develop and implement care roadmaps tailored to each child’s developmental needs and goals.  
  • Design and oversee age-appropriate summer programs and other seasonal activities to enhance learning and engagement.  
  • Train and mentor daycare staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.  
  • Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.  
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.  
  • Manage the daycare’s budget, resources, and supplies efficiently.  
  • Monitor children’s well-being, addressing health, behavioral, and emotional concerns promptly.  

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.  
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in childcare, including leadership roles.  
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).  
  • Knowledge of childcare licensing and regulations.  
  • Strong background in curriculum development and program planning.  

Compensation 

  • $60,000 - $70,000 Annually DOE

Schedule  

  • Full-time  
  • Daycare hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.  
  • Schedule will include approximately 40 hours per week, with Saturdays as needed.

About Our Dealership

 Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. Searching for a new camping trailer turned into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers. 

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
